Southern Campaign 1780 is an educational 501(c)3 non-profit that holds the largest annual force-on-force Revolutionary War reenactment in the nation. Our Carolinas Revolutionary War Weekend and Battle Reenactments will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 9/10, 2024 and is open to the public by paid admission.
On the FRIDAY, (November 8, 2024) before the weekend, we hold our Liberty Live Education Day for up to 2,500 students ENTIRELY FREE OF CHARGE. This is provided by select reenactors, demonstrators, and merchants who choose to set up a day early for their big weekend and provide approximately 50 educational stations to provide a day long immersion experience, FREE OF CHARGE, to students.
While there is no fee for students and teachers/chaperones to attend, YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER to attend because we cannot accommodate more than 2,500 students for the day. Registration is first come, first served. REGISTRATION begins at noon on Labor Day, September 2, 2024. To register please click on the blue button below. *** UPDATE: 10/30/2024 Registration is now closed.
* We strongly encourage schools to register ASAP to avoid disappointment. Our Edu Day has become increasingly popular over the five years we have offered this opportunity. Groups or individuals who are not pre-register will be turned away on Friday.
